Citybank’s Epic Fail
Tuesday, July 29th, 2008 or, Why Won’t I Ever Have An Account There.
Citibank is BLOCKING Customers Who Use Linux
I called Citibank Technical Support and the person I spoke with said “the Citibank website supports Firefox but does not support uncommon operating systems like Linux“.
I called again just to see if this was the official Citibank policy. This next person went into detail about how Windows is the only OS that offers “real security”.
Personality test
Friday, July 25th, 2008 Though I occasionally do personality tests, I never believe them without doubt. It never can be correct and true, so I only do it for fun.
My latest “fun” on an orkut test:
Your personality shows sensitive, but harmonious personality .The intelligence and analytical insight, blends well with the emotional sensitivity of your nature. Peace is so important to you. nothing is worth fighting for except in a polite and well-bred way. Life should be “balanced” with plenty of time for fun, spontaneity, and romance. You will try new things, but within limited boundaries. You approach life in a Practical and determined. They are never in a hurry to reach anywhere and have a great degree of stability.
Friday, July 25th, 2008 Twitter is originally the ultimate weapon to hook yourself into the internet – and not in the good sense. Its intentional usage is to publish online what you’re doing at the moment. If it’s reading, bathing, taking the trash out, having an enema – you just feed your life into the net.
Of course, it could be used creatively.
Like, I’ll just upload the book I’m currently reading. The easiest way to have a “What you read” on my blog, where I can simply feed the latest book title via my browser – twitter is integrated into Flock. So, I’ve just added the “Now reading” section.
I’m too old…
Thursday, July 24th, 2008 When I was looking for a friend on my IM contact list who probably have played with Monty On The Run, I realised I’m too old. Most of them haven’t even heard about the Commodore 64…
The apropos was I’ve aquired the two albums of Press Play On Tape, and I wanted to share the remake of the theme song of Monty On The Run. Well, anyone who knows what I’m talking about, enjoy:
